  1. Xbox Wireless Headset good reviews

Xbox continues to deliver very good hardware with a new over ear headset coming out tomorrow.
The Xbox Wireless Headset is a cheaper ($100) variation of their Surface Headphones, but compatible with Xbox consoles.

  3. Hello world

    Hey, welcome! Iโ€™m thenew
this is my blog on Xbox that you are reading.

I discovered the original Xbox at my friendโ€™s house, playing Halo CE. It was the perfect continuation of GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark. Then came Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic, Halo 2, Conker : Live & Reloaded, Splinter Cell, etc.

But it was with the release of the Xbox 360 that I joined online communities, French forums like and I remember the ARG ourcolony for the launch of the console, the reveal of its design.
I bought the console day one, in France. And it died three times, replaced under warranty, always with no cost and fairly fast.
I joined a fan website, called xenon-360, writing news and tests, learning PHP development, doing some designs and wallpapers, editing videos.
Xbox was aiming at blogs, fan sites, first influencers back then so I was invited to some presentations when I moved to Paris (Forza, Brink, From Dust, Gears of War).
It was formative years. I still have the archives online.

Then arrived the Kinect years and I stopped participating and followed less and less the news.

For the Xbox One, I was curiously looking at the launch campaign: it was a mess, but Iโ€™ll write my opinion about it one day.
I got a secondhand console a few months after the release just because this salaryman, who received it as a business gift (haha), offered me a great deal.
The console is still running and thatโ€™s mainly why Iโ€™m not buying a Series for now.

A little hyped, against my will, by the new generation launch, I built this place,, to scribble my thoughts, revisit Xbox history and have some fun.

Thanks for reading, if you want to contact me, Iโ€™m on Twitter or find me on

  4. PlayStation 5 launch

The PlayStation 5 is launching today in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea and will be available for the rest of the world on November 19.

The console is a direct competitor to Xbox: specs, prices, dates, backward compatibility, โ€ฆ A lot of the hardware is very close.
    It comes in two flavours:

    • PS5: โ‚ฌ500
    • PS5 Digital Edition: โ‚ฌ400

The design seems to be less well thought out than the Xboxes with its huge size, that inelegant disc tray and the sad console buttons. But the overall hardware lineup has a consistent identity which expresses confidence. We will see in the long run which one is the most robust.

  5. Xbox Series X|S launch

The Xbox Series S and the Xbox Series X are launching today. A next-gen console launch unlike any other, the consoles will not be available to purchase in shops in many countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Putting on hold the Xbox All Access credit program.

It's also, more than ever, a cross-gen transition: the console is fully backward compatible and offers almost no exclusive games or features compared to the previous Xbox generation.

A good comparison of the two consoles on

    Some events accompanying the launch:

    • Yakuza: Like a Dragon launches today on Xbox, itโ€™s kind of a timed exclusive game as the PS5 version will wait for March 2021, but the PS4 version was released in January 2020 (but only in Japan).

    • Tetris Effect Connected, the enchanced version of the 2018 game is launching today on Xbox One and Xbox Series and Windows 10 (day one on Game Pass). Itโ€™ll be available to other consoles as a free update in 2021.

    • Bright Memory 1.0 is the only Xbox Series exclusive game (also PC), but itโ€™s just a prologue for the upcoming Bright Memory Infinite :S

    • EA Play joins the Xbox Game Pass: 90 games, including STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order.
The mobile app shows 3 game trials (up to 10 hours): Star Wars: Squadrons, Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21, but impossible to install them on my Xbox One.

    • Destiny 2: Beyond Light launches day one on the Game Pass.

  6. Jason Ronald backward compatibility interview

It's not about selling more copies. It's about preserving the art form that we know and love.
